Tween Social Nights (Ages 10 - 12)
Explore Interests. Build Confidence. Make Real Connections.
Starting April 14, 2026 for 10 weeks
Tuesdays - Sport PEI - 5:30 - 7pm
Tween years can be tricky: friendships change, social expectations grow, and many kids want connection but aren’t quite sure how to make it happen. Our Tween Social Nights create a welcoming space where kids can be themselves, explore shared interests, and build friendships in a way that feels natural and fun.
Program Overview
Tween Social Nights are small-group, interest-based social gatherings designed to help tweens grow social confidence in a safe, supportive environment.
Rather than focusing on “teaching” social skills, we focus on doing things together: games, creative projects, community outings, and shared experiences that naturally build connection.
Group Size:
• Minimum 10 participants
• Maximum 15 participants

How the Program Works
Session 1: Getting Started
Tweens help shape the program! With guidance, the group votes on activities for the term. We focus on:
Creating a sense of safety and belonging
Helping everyone feel heard
Setting group expectations together
Sessions 2–9: Activity Nights
Each session is based on a participant-chosen theme. Activities are:
Semi-structured (enough support, plenty of freedom)
Interest-based
Designed to encourage collaboration and conversation
All supplies are ready when tweens arrive—just come and join in.
Ongoing Support
Our facilitators are present throughout each session, offering:
Gentle coaching during real social moments
Support with navigating group dynamics
Help when things feel tricky—without pressure or spotlighting
